It was only last year the news broke that many a tiki rum lovers favourite party venue Laki Kane was to close down! Fast-forward that closure has turned into new beginnings.
Laki Kane will permanently take over a space in The Breakfast Group’s Burlock Rum Room site on Oxford Street from late March once again offering its Spirit of Tiki Brunch, rum tasting experiences, rum-making workshops, and cocktail masterclasses inspired by co-founder Georgi Radev’s book Let’s Get Tropical.
Celebrity chef Collin Brown is behind the food menu, which is Caribbean-inspired and designed to complement the rum programme. Dishes include rum barbecue wings with June plum and lime, jerk chicken with sweet and sour miso, salt fish fritters with mango chilli, and the signature Laki chicken burger.
There is already a waiting list activated and will bring joy to the more rum loving party goers seeking a fun paradise getaway in the heart of London.
