Rumora had the privilege to be invited to attend a very special press launch of a new rum to the UK market, all the way from the exotic Mauritius. Launching at the trendy rum bar, Black Parrot, we were welcomed into a world of Mango Bay, not a place, but an idea: a dream of vibrant shores, tropical abundance, and the spirit of discovery.

Mango Bay rum is blended from molasses and pure cane juice rums native to the land of Mauritius, aged in French oak and seasoned Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bringing together two distinct traditions in one remarkable spirit. It’s also additive-free.


Guests enjoyed a special selection of curated cocktails, chatted, networked and were then given a brief overview of the story behind the rum from Master Maker & Blender J. Arthur Rackham. See video for all the action.
