Rumora was super excited to get the call from the Fortitude/Pampero team to collaborate with them on this very special re-launch of their rum portfolio to the UK market. The private VIP event was held to invite members of the trade and hospitality sector to enjoy a wonderful guided tasting.
The event was named, The Art of Anniversario an evening with the award-winning Pampero Maestro Ronero Luis Figueroa, hosted by Helen David winner & Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell alongside global Pampero rum ambassador Rudi Carrero.
It was an evening filled with masterful blending, exceptional
cocktails, canapés and the exclusive unveiling of the new Pampero
Anniversario rum pouch all held at the Black Parrot Rum Bar, which was filled to maximum capacity with eager guests.
Not only had the Pampero team flown in specially from Venezuela, but it marked the hottest day ever recorded in the UK, though Maestro Ronero Luis remarked, we had now caught up with the standard climate of Venezuela!
Guests were treated to welcome cocktails, a brief introduction from The Global Rum Ambassador Ian who gave some background on the event ahead. Luis took the floor with a slide show presentation explaining the history and process of crafting the rum portfolio. Guests had wonderfully branded Pampero guided tasting mats showcasing the rum collection and cocktail descriptions, chocolates and plenty of interaction along the way.
The night ended on a high with the Pampero rum ritual and specially gifted bottle of the new Anniversario rum pouch which Maestro Ronero Luis kindly signed for each guest.
More delicious Venezuelan canapés and cocktails flowed as guest mingled and networked whilst Ian Burrell & team created more masterful cocktails with the Pampero portfolio.
