It’s an award that any rum producer would be super proud to win. The IWSC’s award is the highest honour for the rum category. No stranger to winning awards, this is Foursquare’s second consecutive IWSC Rum Trophy and its fourth overall, having previously secured the title in 2016, 2020, 2024.
Over 400 rums from around the world enter, and the IWSC panel of expert judges have the extremely hard task of choosing a standout winner for the trophy. Competition is tough, so to win this award multiple times is no easy feat. Equidem 14-Year-Old, is part of the distillery’s acclaimed Exceptional Cask Selection series and showcases an adventurous dual maturation—five years in ex-bourbon casks followed by nine years in rare ex–Black Muscat wine casks.
