Rumora followed Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell to get a birds eye view and sneaky peak into his life to see just a part of the works of a Global Ambassador for the category of rum entails. It so happens that this night was at the ultra premium Ce La Vi venue in Paddington, as Paraguay rum brand El Supremo launch their rums to the UK. Invited was members of the hospitality sector with brand founder Filippo Maria, who kicked the night off with a guided rum tasting and presentation of 4 rums which each progress in flavour due to their age range of 5 years – 18 years
Ian sampled the rums, made tasting notes, welcomed industry guests and hosted the rest of the evening along with banter and conversations of rum. The entertainment was provided by yours truly Rumora with Afro House music by DJ Skakes, Ogogoro Records and classic Harp Player Dorothy. Distinguished guest were also part of speech presentation from the Paraguay Embassy, followed by traditional dancers.
