This day marks the anniversary of the first time a cocktail was defined in print, back in 1806 by ‘The Balance and Columbian Repository’. This definition described a cocktail as a stimulating liquor, composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, water, and bitters – a formula now known as the “old-fashioned” which many today are still very much enjoying.
So, to celebrate, let’s make a well-loved cocktail with Gerald, called the Brixton Negroni! Enjoy this simple and easy rum cocktail recipe.
