This was a super intimate fully immersive experience with a strictly limited attendance to celebrate 135 years of heritage of Flor De Caña rum at the Shang Hai Me, London Hilton, Park Lane.
So it was only right that global rum ambassador, Ian Burrell, was top on the attendee list to join this delightful evening of elegance, luxury, craftsmanship and celebration.
The evening consisted of a truly stunning location, followed by a tasting and pairing, presentation guided by Mauricio Solórzano, Global Ambassador of Flor de Caña who shared the stories of heritage, legacy and premium rum craftsmanship. The food matched their previous releases of 12, 18, 25 and finally 35-year-old rums. Ivan Orsini, Flor de Caña’s Brand Ambassador in the UK, was also on hand to help with the presentation.
Of course, the highlight of the evening was, finally the introduction of Flor de Caña 35-Year-old, an exceptional release celebrating 135 years of legacy and family tradition. Its beautiful handmade crystal decanter, inspired by the San Cristóbal Volcano, showcases an exclusive edition of only 350 pieces available worldwide. The specially selected few in attendance got to taste this patiently matured limited edition rum history in a bottle.
