Appleton Estate has launched an interactive rum museum in Kingston, Jamaica. The museum aims to engage both experienced rum enthusiasts and newbies alike. Through a series of hands-on exhibits, visitors can learn about the brand’s history and every step of its rum-making process—from distillation to ageing in oak barrels, mmmm i can smell all those wonderful aromas already!.
Appleton Estate already offers a bigger tour, but the new Kingston museum is a “scaled-down version” of the larger Appleton Estate Rum Experience in St. Elizabeth Parish. “This will be an immersive ‘edutainment’ experience. The aim is, it brings to life the making of the beloved rum in the context of a Jamaican family.” Well, that’s a family I’m sure many want to be a part of.
The museum is open to the public until July 13th 2025. Located at 23 Dominica Avenue, New Kingston, Jamaica. Rum seekers can drop in during regular hours to explore the exhibits, taste delish rum samples, and enjoy this amazing interactive and immersive experience.
